Descrizione: This product is the lyophilized powder of fluorescein-5-isothiocyanate (FITC "Isomer I")-conjugated goat IgG fraction to human IgM (5Fc µ) and buffer salts.The total protein is measured using the Biuret procedure with bovine albumin as the standard; F/P ratio is calculated using absorbance at 491.5nm. Antibody titer of the IgG fraction is standardized by equivalence-point precipitation. The IgG fraction is tested for purity and specificity at 40 mg/mL using immunoelectrophoresis. The product is mostly goat IgG; no trace of albumin is detected.

Dextrans are used in many applications as platelet aggregants, plasma volume extenders, osmotic pressure regulators, stabilizers, organ separation media, matrix components, copolymers, microcarriers, binding agents, viscosity modifiers, antithrombotics, lubricants and physical structure components. They may be used as long hydrophilic spacer arms to improve the performance (freedom of movement) of conjugated/bound proteins. Dextrans may be derivatized for use in biosensor systems.

Dextran is branched polysaccharide made up of linear α (1→6) linked glucose units and α (1→3) link initiated branches; it ranges in size from 10,000 to 150,000 Kd.Depending upon its molecular weight it has different uses in different fields.

Descrizione: Guaiacol is a phenolic natural product first isolated from Guaiac resin, as well as the oxidation of lignin. It is readily oxidized by the heme iron of peroxidases including the peroxidase of cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes. The proteins are extracted by boiling skin, tendons, ligaments, bones, etc. in water. Type A gelatin is derived from acid hydrolysed tissue. The charge on a gelatin molecule and its isoelectric point are primarily due to the carboxyl amino and guanidino groups on the side chains. Type A gelatin has 78 to 80 millimoles of free carboxyl groups per 100 g of protein and a pI of 7,0 to 9,0.
