Fornitore: ProSci Inc.
Codice articolo fornitore: 28-252
Codice articolo locale: PRSI28-252
Descrizione: Potassium channels represent the most complex class of voltage-gated ion channels from both functional and structural standpoints. Four sequence-related potassium channel genes, shaker, shaw, shab, and shal, have been identified in Drosophila, and each has been shown to have human homolog (s). KCNA10 encodes a member of the potassium channel, voltage-gated, shaker-related subfamily. This member contains six membrane-spanning domains with a shaker-type repeat in the fourth segment. It is specifically regulated by cGMP and postulated to mediate the effects of substances that increase intracellular cGMP.
UOM: 1 * 100 µG

Descrizione: Lugol′s solution is a ready-to-use solution that comprises 6% iodine in 4% potassium iodide. It is commonly used as a mordant for Gram staining in bacteriology. It is used for staining bacterial target structures for diagnostic purposes by fixing, staining, counterstaining, and mounting bacteriological specimen materials.

Descrizione: Voltage-gated potassium (Kv) channels represent the most complex class of voltage-gated ion channels from both functional and structural standpoints. Their diverse functions include regulating neurotransmitter release, heart rate, insulin secretion, neuronal excitability, epithelial electrolyte transport, smooth muscle contraction, and cell volume. This gene encodes a member of the potassium channel, voltage-gated, subfamily H. This member is a pore-forming (alpha) subunit of a voltage-gated non-inactivating delayed rectifier potassium channel. It is activated at the onset of myoblast differentiation. The gene is highly expressed in brain and in myoblasts. Overexpression of the gene may confer a growth advantage to cancer cells and favor tumor cell proliferation. Alternative splicing of this gene results in two transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008].

This gene encodes a member of the potassium channel, voltage-gated, shal-related subfamily, members of which form voltage-activated A-type potassium ion channels and are prominent in the repolarization phase of the action potential. This gene is expressed at moderate levels in all tissues analyzed, with lower levels in skeletal muscle.
