Codice catalogo: (BOSSBS-9450R-CY7)
Fornitore: Bioss
Codice articolo fornitore: BS-9450R-CY7
Codice articolo locale: BOSSBS-9450R-CY7
Descrizione: Cytidine is a nucleoside formed by a cytosine attached to a ribose ring via a beta-N1-glycosidic bond. DNA is methylated on cytidines by DNA methylases (DNMTs)to generate 5-methylcytidine (5-mC), a potent epigenetics marker and regulator of gene expression. The reverse reaction (cytidine demethylation) starts with its oxidation to hydroxymethyl- (5-hmC), formyl- (5-fC), and carboxy- (5-caC) cytidine. Several enzymes, including the Tet family of proteins have been implicated in cytidine demethylation.
UOM: 1 * 100 µl

Fornitore: MP Biomedicals
Descrizione: IPTG (isopropyl-β-thiogalactoside) is an analogue of allolactose that binds specifically to the repressor protein of the lac operon and induces expression of β-galactosidase in Escherichia coli.
IPTG is a commonly used reagent in cloning procedures that require induction of b-galactosidase activity and is used in conjunction with X-Gal in blue-white color selection of recombinant bacterial colonies.
The final concentration typically used in indicator plates is 0.2 mM.

Descrizione: Storage: Store at -20 °C. Store Desiccated. Store Under Nitrogen. Protect from light.
5-Bromo-4-chloro-3-indolyl β-D-galactopyranoside, commonly known as X−Gal, is a histochemical substrate for β−galactosidase.
5-Bromo-4-Chloro-3-Indolyl-β-D-Galactopyranoside is used as indigogenic substrate for β-galactosidase, for detection of β-galactosidase-positive clones, and the identification of lac and bacterial colonies or phage plaques. It is the substrate of choice for blue-white selection of recombinant bacterial colonies with the lac+ genotype. X−Gal is cleaved by β−galactosidase to yield an insoluble blue precipitate. X−Gal is particularly useful in molecular biology applications to detect the activity of β−galactosidase which is frequently used as a reporter gene. In cloning, X−Gal is used to detect insertion of foreign DNA into the lacZ region of plasmid DNA using α-complementation which is based on vectors such as the pUC and the M13mp series that carry a fragment of the β-galactosidase gene encoding an α-fragment of β-galactosidase.

Descrizione: CBG is a monomeric enzyme involved in the absorption and metabolism of flavonoid glucosides. CBG is found predominately in the liver, but is also located in tissues such as spleen, small intestine and kidney. Through its catalytic activity, CBG is able to hydrolyze a variety of glycosides including phytoestrogens, cyanogens, and flavonols. Although its catalytic activity extends to many dietary flavonoids, CBG has increased specificity for hydrophobic aglycones such as beta-D-glucoside and beta-D-galactoside. Hydrolysis is inhibited by sodium taurocholate and glucosyl-sphingosine, both of which regulate CBG enzymatic activity. Deficiencies in CBG have been implicated in Gaucher’s disease, a lysosomal storage disease that causes a build up of fatty material in the spleen, liver, lung and kidneys.

Descrizione: Regulatory subunit of the calcium activated potassium KCNMA1 (maxiK) channel. Modulates the calcium sensitivity and gating kinetics of KCNMA1, thereby contributing to KCNMA1 channel diversity. Increases the apparent Ca2+/voltage sensitivity of the KCNMA1 channel. It also modifies KCNMA1 channel kinetics and alters its pharmacological properties. It slows down the activation and the deactivation kinetics of the channel. Acts as a negative regulator of smooth muscle contraction by enhancing the calcium sensitivity to KCNMA1. Its presence is also a requirement for internal binding of the KCNMA1 channel opener dehydrosoyasaponin I (DHS-1) triterpene glycoside and for external binding of the agonist hormone 17-beta-estradiol (E2). Increases the binding activity of charybdotoxin (CTX) toxin to KCNMA1 peptide blocker by increasing the CTX association rate and decreasing the dissociation rate.
