The most prevalent of gas generators currently in use in laboratories across the world, nitrogen generators are designed to produce a continuous or on-demand supply of high purity nitrogen molecules which are phthalate-free. These nitrogen generation systems are engineered to utilize high pressure swing adsorption (PSA) for the removal of oxygen content, carbon dioxide, and water vapor. After the gas of choice is purified, the gas is filtered through high-efficiency coalescing prefilters and a 0.01µm membrane filter. Some PSA nitrogen generator models are sized to fit in small cabinets or beneath most work surfaces.
